Review Policy for Turning Another Page

I’m always on the lookout for my next great read and love supporting authors by reviewing a wide range of genres. Below is my current review policy to help guide your submission.

Genres I Accept:
I read widely across most genres, so you’re in luck! I enjoy adult, young adult, and some middle grade titles across the following (but not limited to):

• Romance (contemporary, historical, fantasy, romcom, suspense, sci-fi – both closed and open door)
• Fantasy and Sci-Fi (from lighthearted to epic)
• Mystery and Thriller (psychological, domestic, historical, noir, and cozy)
• Horror, Gothic, and Supernatural
• Historical Fiction
• Literary Fiction and Contemporary
• Nonfiction (memoir, biography, pop culture, true crime, social issues)

If your book doesn’t fall into one of these but sounds compelling, feel free to reach out anyway. I’m open to unique or cross-genre works that push boundaries.

Formats I Accept:
I accept both print and digital formats (PDF, ePub, mobi), ARCs/galleys, and audiobooks (CD or digital). I use Audible, Audiobooks.com, iBooks, and Authors Direct. I’m also available on NetGalley and Reedsy Discovery if you prefer to send copies that way.

Reading & Review Schedule:
I receive a steady stream of review requests and, like many readers, I follow where my reading mood takes me. My TBR is constantly growing, so it helps a lot when you include a preferred date or window for when you’d like your review to go live. If your book has a set release date, I’ll aim to share the review around that time whenever possible.

If no timeline is mentioned, I’ll add your book to my review queue and fit it in where it makes sense. Already-published titles will be reviewed as my schedule allows. I appreciate your flexibility and patience as I balance review reads with personal picks and life offline.

Honesty & Integrity:
All of my reviews reflect my genuine reading experience. While I do my best to write thoughtful and respectful reviews, I do not guarantee only positive feedback. I will always aim to offer fair, constructive criticism when applicable.

I do not offer paid reviews and will not exchange a guaranteed 5-star review in return for a free book.

Use of AI Tools
At Turning Another Page, I occasionally use AI-based tools to assist with formatting, editing, or polishing content (such as grammar, structure, or layout suggestions). These tools are used solely to support clarity and consistency. All opinions, reviews, and creative direction remain entirely my own to ensure authenticity and personal voice.

To Submit a Book for Review:
Please include the following in your email to turninganotherpage@gmail.com:

• Book title and summary
• Publisher and release date
• Preferred review date (if any)
• Format you’re offering (print, digital, audio)
• Any relevant links (where the book will be available for purchase, author site, etc.)

A signed print copy allows me to offer a giveaway to the readers who follow Turning Another Page.

My Review Rating System
Every book I accept gets a fair read from cover to cover. I don’t use DNF ratings—if I commit, I see it through. Reviews are honest reflections of my reading experience and are rated using the Goodreads scale:

⭐ 2 – It was okay
⭐ 3 – Liked it
⭐ 4 – Really liked it
⭐ 5 – Loved it / Amazing
